ABOUT WAYNE W. MASON
Wayne W. Mason received his bachelor of science in 1964 from Eastern Illinois University. He went on to University of Illinois Dental School in Chicago and graduated in 1968 with his doctorate degree in dentistry. Dr. Mason completed his prosthodontic residency at the Hines VA Hospital in Maywood, Illinois in 1970
Dr. Mason is an active member of the dental community. He currently holds memberships in:
- American Dental Associations
- Lake County Dental Study Club (was an officer for 4 years)
- Lake County Dental Society (was an officer for 4 years)
- Annual Midwest Seminar of Dental Medicine since 1973 (Vice President and program chair since 2001 to Present)
Throughout the years, Dr. Mason has presented many programs on Prosthodontic dentistry regarding crowns, bridges, implants, dentures, occlusion, and TMJ complications and therapy.
He has consulted for many local dental practices on complicated patient treatment diagnosis and tutors different laboratory technicians on occlusion and lab techniques.
Dr. Mason started his dental practice in Mundelein IL in 1970. He moved to Libertyville, IL in 1980 where he currently is still practicing.
He has been actively involved in the Libertyville community since 1970. He coached football for the Libertyville boys club and baseball for the Libertyville Little League for 12 years.
Dr. Mason has been married to his wife Bev for 48 years. They have 3 boys and 6 grandchildren.
His hobbies are fabricating his own custom clubs for golf, fishing, and photography.
Meet the Team
I started working for Dr. Mason as dental assistant in 1997. I became the office manager in 2003. I love taking part in giving all of our patients beautiful smiles.
I have been married for 40 years to my husband Bill. I have 4 children 11 grandchildren. In my free time I enjoy biking, walking, gardening, swimming, bowling, boating, and traveling.
Hi! My name is Linda. I’ve been a hygienist for over 40 years. I’ve worked for general dentist, periodontist, pediodontist, and now call this office home for the last 23 years. I LOVE my job and what I do!
I really enjoy people and that shows as I bring you to health, educate and help make your time here fun. I enjoy readying, being outdoors, my cat Sweet Baby Talula and playing with my granddaughter and my grandpup!
I started working for Dr. Mason in 1988 as a dental assistant. In 1989 I became office manager and worked for Dr. Mason until 1996 when I choose to be a stay at home Mom. I returned to Dr. Mason’s office in 2013.
I LOVE a great smile!
When I’m not at work you will find me enjoying time with my family, playing with my golden retrievers, gardening and volunteering in the community.
